Jan Hus was a priest from Husinec in Bohemia, who stood at the cradle of the Reformation. His views were that everyone should be able to read the Bible in his own language and that every believer should be able to partake of Holy Communion. He also strove to restructure the church organization to bring it closer to the doctrine of the true faith. He eventually died, as a martyr, at the stake for his faith.
His last words were: The truth wins!
