Power Of Prayer

A song about the strength found in prayer when fear, pain and darkness threaten to take over. Prayer does not always remove the storm, but it changes how we stand within it. It brings our weakness before God, gives voice to sorrow, and reminds us that we are not fighting alone. Even when the world feels broken, faith keeps reaching upward — believing that God still hears, still strengthens, and still brings light into the darkness.

Scripture: James 5:16; Philippians 4:6–7; Psalm 34:17–18

Lyrics

Shadows fall but i still stand
Holding heaven in these hands
Through the fire, through the rain
Every scar erased in flame

A voice inside, it calls my name
Turning weakness into strength again
No surrender, no disguise
Faith is burning in my eyes

Power of Prayer!
Thunder in my veins!
Lighting up the darkness, breaking through the chains!
Power of Prayer!
Louder than the lies!
I’m standing tall forever… ’cause the Kingdom never dies!

Power of Prayer!
Fire in my soul!
Taking all the broken pieces, making me whole!
Power of Prayer!
Breaking through the night!
Like a river through the desert…
You turn darkness into light!

Higher and higher… i can feel it rise
Through the fear and through the fire in my eyes
No more shadows… no more pain
Only heaven calling out my name

Power of Prayer!
Stronger than the storm!
Lifting up these ashes, giving sorrow living form!
Power of Prayer!
Echo in my soul!
When the whole world’s breaking…
You remind me i am whole!

Power… of Prayer…
Power… of Prayer…

I believe…!
